Week 10: Sound I

This week I had the pleasure of collaborating with my classmate Daniel Johnston on an Audio-Visual instrument. You can try it here by clicking in the window then using the arrow keys on your computer:

Our inspiration was to create an experience where you could walk virtually around a space and experience it entirely through sound.

I really enjoyed the experience of collaborating on this project. There were a number of techniques that Daniel used, such as creating a Class for our circle objects, that didn’t occur to me initially but definitely made the project and code better.

I look forward to continuing our collaboration for the next assignment where we have discussed taking this experience into a (literally) darker place.
